  1. Do not be so hard on yourself. There are ups and downs in weight loss and you have the power and ability to make that scale drop. This is nothing more than a small setback.
Tough love time: NEVER call yourself a failure. Not ever. You wouldn't let your child say it about himself; don't be a bad role model and say it about yourself. It's destructive. You know that.

It's ok. Dust yourself off and get right back on track. There is no deadline for goal weight. Each thing you do for yourself is a step in the right direction.

(HUGS) Smile. You get a fresh start every single day. Heck, you7 get a fresh start each meal and with each time you chose to move your body! Celebrate the good. :) It'll be ok.

  2. You are not a failure.

    You are NOT a failure!

Just because you are struggling right now and stressed out doesn't mean you are a failure. You are a wonderful mom, your little man wouldn't be doing as well as he is if you were anything less than amazing with him.

You put him first, just as I do with my son. Your son was having some medical issues going on and you were scared and worried about him as every mom is when something is wrong with their child.

You will get back on the right track but you have to remain positive. Look how far you've come. You can do this, you know how. You will succeed. You will not fail, you are NOT a failure.

  3. ok - here's the smack through cyber space. The more you think and obsess over it - the more stress weight you will gain. Start completely fresh if you have to. You know what works for you. Stop obsessing about the scale - the weight will come off as long as you follow the plan. Here are all the positive vibes I am sending out to you!

  4. I have felt that way before. LIke I just can't get control of it. What (besides the hideous failure tape you have looping in your head, which needs to be destroyed and replaced.) are you saying about what you are doing in your own mind.
Is it something like...'well, I have already eaten 1600 calories worth of ice cream and have blown it, so why bother with the rest of the day...have what you want and you can start over tomorrow?"
I bet it's some version of that.
    It starts over NOW.
Take any sh*t you have lying around your house and put it in your big garbage can...make it a scene, a ritual.
Whatever it is you have to do.
then grab some water and get a hot shower and go to bed.
    That old you is gone.
The new you is here NOW.
The NEW YOU doesn't call you a failure.
The new you doesn't use food to numb their feelings.
The new you is here right now and is taking control of this situation.
The old you will be saying while you are doing this, tha tthis is ridiculous...it's just a little food, you are down, you just want to feel better...put this off till tomorrow or next week or the beginning of the year.
Well, that old you is what got you in this mess. She is just saying what she thinks will keep you stuck. she is scared. Doing it will kick the old you right in the rear.
    It's very empowering
    you can do this.
    big hugs..

  5. You are doing great with your activity. I know you are feeling down, but you will pick back up and kick some ass. You will because you deserve to put yourself first. I know you are frustrated Bee. Just take a step back, give yourself a no guilt/regroup day then get back on your journey. You deserve it.

  6. Dust yourself off, get back up again. You are in control. You will have setbacks, it's inevitable. What defines you is the ability to get back up and get past those setbacks.

You are normal. I have been where you are, and it sucks. But you are awesome - never forget that.

  7. Bee, this is a normal feeling and we all go through it, some of us more often than others. You are not a failure, take a break from the scale for a bit and concentrate on getting yourself back to a great place emotionally. Stepping on the scale and seeing that number rise is only going to add to the stress. Take a deep breath look in the mirror each morning and tell yourself you are a beautiful person, wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a big hug! Positive affirmation will help to overcome the stress and then in a couple of weeks approach the scale and I bet you see an inprovement. Sending you a big old cyberspace hug to let you know you are a special person!!!

  8. So sorry Bee :( And on top of everything else your treadmill broke!?!?! OMGoodness, I would be feeling like sh** too :(

BUT you are NOT stupid and you are NOT a failure. Look how far you've come! I know you can bounce back from this...
my best advise would be blog through it. That really helps when I am feeling down. Just let it all out, we are here to listen!
Also, even though it's hard when you feel this way, think of all the good things in your life. think of how much you have lost, and how far you've come! Think of your little man getting over those hives and being healthy! Think of all the things you are blessed with :)

I hope you feel better soon. We're hear for ya!
