I was so sick to my stomach i really didnt want to have anyone here today but it isnt about me lol
so oh well
frosty the snowman helped him so it only took a minute to put this puzzle together lol
we put all the pieces out for all 3 puzzles and he did it all together in a couple minutes these were brand new puzzles to him
so that was an amazing job
and here is some felt thing from the 1970s LOLbut he liked playing with his "felt friends" his exact words :-)
and we went through the alphabet a couple times and did what sounds the letters make he loves to sing the alphabet song
and he loves to sing a says a and a says aww every letter makes a sound and a says a and awww
basically you put the sounds the letters make in there
cute song right
i love leapfrog toys they are so creative
and matching the animals face and body and all the sounds animals make and i cant forget he loved the radio in the left hand corner
it sings alot of different songs
he loves to sing
right now he is singing dragon tales song
thats about all we did today plus the obvious ABA therapy book we did for about 45 mins or so
it was a good day
no real problems
he only got upset once and threw a toy and then we said you dont through toys or they get put away and i put it away and he cried for a minute or 2 but then that was it so that means it was a good day cuz we all know the tantrums can last a long time
oh yea he must have gotten all his tantrums out this weekend because we switch the furniture around and he was very upset for a couple hours but then he decided he like it cuz we can all cuddle on the couch better as a family
but change is very hard for a child with autism so needless to say with all the stressful things that were going on and the changing of furniture this weekend wasnt a great one
so i am glad it actually over
we did however build a huge igloo that could hold
daddy mommy and him
so he was happy bout that

He is doing so well! I'm impressed that he can do puzzles so well. AND, that igloo is fabulous! We've made one-well Hubbend and the oldest two-and it has been the highlight of the winter.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he had such a wonderful therapy session. I know how the tantrums can last and last, I'm glad his did NOT today. My son always loved his Leap Frog Fridge Phonics and loved singing that song too. We then got the one you can make words with, he loved that one too.
ReplyDeleteWe bought the animal one for a friend years back, her son loved it..My son wasn't interested as he already knew the animal sounds and such at the time so we never bought that one for him..They are GREAT!
